Deposit protection
Deposit protection protects credit balances on accounts of private and corporate clients in the event of bankruptcy of a bank or securities house. The protection is regulated by law. The protection is limited to a maximum of CHF 100,000 per customer and institution. Several accounts are added together. “esisuisse” guarantees the coverage of the protected credit balances within the framework of the self-regulation of Swiss banks and securities houses.
